We'll get started with an interactive video call where we can really dive in to your business goals create a strategy for your website. We'll discuss the features and pages to include on your site in order to achieve your goals.

1 on 1 Guided Web Hosting Sign Up

I'll guide you step-by-step as you get signed up for web hosting. (I can offer hosting company recommendations)

Custom Domain Setup

I'll set up the geeky DNS settings so your domain points to your new site. If you don't have a domain yet, we'll register it while on the guided hosting sign up call.

Email Addresses on your Domain (up to 3)

I'll set up 3 professional email addresses for you like yourname@yourdomain.com.

WordPress Setup & Configuration

Don't worry about fiddling with all those settings. I got it. Plus I'll install some of my favorite plugins to get you started.

Speed, Security, & Backups

Maximize your hosting plan benefits! The hosting I recommend has some sweet features, but some require a little configuration.

Installation of your Theme

Browse the thousands of free WordPress themes available or purchase a premium theme (I can make some recommendations for themes too).

Theme Customization & Your Logo

I'll configure your theme's settings to match your existing branding and I'll also add custom code to further customize your theme (up to 1 hour). I'll upload your logo as well.

Navigation/Menu Bar Setup

We'll discuss all the pages for your site on the strategy call. I'll set up those pages and your primary menu bar.

Website Stats with Google Analytics 

Track all your traffic stats and generate reports with Google Analytics integration.

Drag & Drop Page Builder

I'll install my favorite drag & drop page builder (free version or premium, whichever you prefer) so you can easily create page layouts with columns and multiple sections.

Design & Layout: Home + 3 Pages

I'll design and lay out your home page complete with graphics, banners, and calls to action using your photos or any branding assets that you have (or I can create graphics using stock photography and icons). Plus, I'll design and lay out 3 additional pages of your choice.
Note: this package does not include copy writing, you'll provide the text for your website pages.

Email Marketing Service Integration & Opt-in Form

I'll integrate your email marketing service such as MailChimp or ConvertKit so you can collect email addresses.

Contact Form

Contact form setup for your contact page with a captcha (to reduce spam) so people can send messages to your email.

Links/Icons to your Social Media

Invite your website visitors to connect with you on social media by providing links to your social media accounts.

Social Media Sharing Buttons

Allow your visitors to share your blog posts or products on their social media with handy social sharing buttons. (More sharing = more traffic.)

After Care: Website Info Packet

Upon completion of your project, I'll provide a document with key info about your site: a list of plugins used (with descriptions and links to documentation), your account logins and license keys, and some helpful tips & guidelines

Process

1. Research

After you've booked your project, I'll send you a questionnaire to fill out so that I can get a better understanding of your branding and goals.

Then we'll hop on a video call to discuss the entire project more in depth. We can really dive in to your business goals and explore all the possibilities for your website. This is when I get to learn about your business. Together we can create a plan for your website and your success online.

We'll discuss the features and pages to include on your site. Plus we'll cover all the logistics involved with you sending me your content and branding assets.

2. Brand & Content Homework

Pull together your logo and brand assets such as business card designs, package designs, etc. You'll put all your files, including the text for each page of your site in a shared folder I set up. I’ll also have you send me any inspiration you’ve collected (Pinterest, websites you love) and anything extra you want me to know.

3. Website Build

I'll guide you through purchasing your hosting plan and then I'll take over from here.

Once I get all your content and branding, I'll swiftly design and build out your website. Turnaround is pretty quick once I have everything from you!

4. Launch & Learn

Pop the champagne and celebrate your amazing new website! As we wrap up the project, I'll send you a document with all the essential info you need to manage your website.

I'll also give you access to my WordPress Course and private community at this point.

If you want, I also offer website maintenance plans so you can really focus your time on your business!
